Today’s my friend’s birthday. He was one of the first assistant managers I had when I started at VZW. He was a big dude that looked like he’d kick your ass, but he was like a teddy bear. Sweetest guy EVER.

Two days before my 24th birthday he was shot and killed less than a block away from where I live now.

He would’ve been 33 today.
