Friday night we headed out to Palo Alto to celebrate Fern and Franny’s 26th birthday. We had dinner at Nola, a New Orleans style restaurant, then headed to B412. Haven’t had a group gathering like this in hella long. Back to the San Jose days!

My alarm went off this morning and the radio started playing. I was still in bed half asleep and then I hear that someone passed away. I was curious who it was so of course I looked it up. And it was comedian Bernie Mac. Sad…RIP!

My coworker showed me this video and apparently it’s showing up all over the place from The View to MSN News. I showed it to Tre and Reg last weekend. Then Reg sends me the link today and I had to remind her that I already showed it to her. Haha

Wow…

Sorry I don’t have any new exciting updates. But I’ve been suuuuper busy. I started painting my apartment but I haven’t had a lot of free time to actually get it done. My week consists of work and school. When I’m not at work or at school I’m trying to get my apartment done and make some time to head to the Homeroom office.

This week is super busy too. I have training in Walnut Creek 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs and I have to come back everyday after training so that I could make it to class. Luckily I’m done with at least one of the classes. Friday I might have to go to jury duty which will SUCK. If not I’ll be at the Homeroom office. That night I’ll be out with the ladies and then Saturday will be painting and working on a couple other projects. Then it’s back to work on Sunday. Boo.

I almost fell asleep in class during my final tonight…

I’ve been sick ever since Ian’s birthday last week. After Motif last Thursday I started having lower back pain. Then after Ian’s BBQ on Saturday I got sick! A week later I finally went to the doctors.

Sudafed for my congestion
Robitussin DM for my cough
3 Advils 3 times a day for my back. Along with…

I was never really into The X-Files, but a friend of mine absolutely loves the show and so I ended up watching the first movie at his house one night. I get entertained easily so I actually liked it. Even though I never watched the shows, the next movie is coming out on July 25th and I think I actually want to watch it. Just gotta find someone to watch it with me!

I thought it was funny that Mel B. from The Spice Girls and Jerry Springer were the ones hosting the Miss Universe 2008 pageant. But apparently that wasn’t the highlight. During the ball gown competition with the top 10 contestants, Miss USA either tripped on the train of her dress or tripped on the stairs. Maybe it was a little of both?
