S.L.A.T.E @ MAGIC
After work Saturday night I headed down to Vegas for the Magic Trade Show. Alex, Gian, and Masa picked me up from the airport and we headed straight to Stussy and Undefeated to meet up Neeks.

Right after that we headed down to House of Commons.
They had a show going on that we were late for but it included great photos of people that bike and the bios on them.
Sunday we set up at Magic and then headed out to Hard Rock for a party at Wasted Space. I ran into some of my friends from back home. Had no idea they were in Vegas!

Me and Jim (Soy Clothing)-Thanks for the shirt guys!

Me and the lovely DimePiece ladies!
Triumvir had 4 Capcom video machines with Street Fighter 4 on them!
So I decided to take our big pencil…

Birthday Balloons
Almost exactly a year ago, I gave my sister one of those big helium balloons for her birthday. About 7 months later, she got it refilled with helium and gave it back to my for my birthday. So I was stuck with this balloon deflating in my room since March.
I went to get it refilled today. It’s about that time to give it back to her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEEDEE!!
(One of my friends called it “The sisterhood of the traveling balloon” Haha)
Olympics: Beach Volleyball
For those of you that don’t know me, I love volleyball. I played for awhile and so I was excited to watch the Olympics gold metal match for beach volleyball. Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor have to got be the best team around. My mom told me that when I was little, my sister got to play against Kerri Walsh in high school. From what my sister said Kerri Walsh was the 2nd best outside hitter in the nation during that time. Crazy.
Last night I watched the USA team (Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor) play China for the gold metal. Might I say…they played pretty damn good in the RAIN. Not only are they now two time gold medalists but have won the last 108 consecutive games.
Picture from the LA Times
Makes me miss playing for a team 😦

Fern and Franny’s 26th Birthday
Friday night we headed out to Palo Alto to celebrate Fern and Franny’s 26th birthday. We had dinner at Nola, a New Orleans style restaurant, then headed to B412. Haven’t had a group gathering like this in hella long. Back to the San Jose days!
The fraternal twins! Francisco and Fernando! Happy Birthday!
Of course I got the fried chicken and mashed potatoes…yuuuum…my favorite.
Cupcakes from Kara’s Cupcakes. They were deeeeelicious.
Some of the paintings on the wall. This one says “Hey babe, why don’t you come and get all over me.” Haha
And then this one…”My momma and your momma were hanging out clothes. My momma hit your momma right smack in her nose.” What the…
Walking back to the car…would you still be my friend if I wore these?
RIP Bernie Mac
My alarm went off this morning and the radio started playing. I was still in bed half asleep and then I hear that someone passed away. I was curious who it was so of course I looked it up. And it was comedian Bernie Mac. Sad…RIP!
CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) — Bernie Mac, the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor and comedian who worked his way to Hollywood success from an impoverished upbringing on Chicago’s South Side, died Saturday at age 50.
Bernie Mac, 50, was nominated for a Grammy for “The Original Kings of Comedy.”

Christian the Lion
My coworker showed me this video and apparently it’s showing up all over the place from The View to MSN News. I showed it to Tre and Reg last weekend. Then Reg sends me the link today and I had to remind her that I already showed it to her. Haha
Now that’s love right there.
