Lifted Roots
Last week I went to Octopus Lounge for a friend’s birthday and also to check out his brother’s reggae band, Lifted Roots. It wasn’t the first time I saw them play but it was the first time to see them with a new girl singer and a new guitarist. They cover songs from bands such as Katchafire and Bob Marley, but also play their own songs that they’ve created. I’ve known Adrian (vocals and keyboard) since kindergarten and let me just say these guys are talented.

Busy Dayssssss
Sorry I haven’t been posting much.
Ever since I got back from Hawaii I’ve been working more than usual. The week I got back I worked 6 days in a row. And then the week after I worked 5 days when I usually work 4. Now this week I pulled a 12 hour shift on Monday, tomorrow I’m doing inventory @ 7am and then going back into work 12:30pm-9:30pm. On top of that our district manager scheduled a meeting at 6:30am on Friday…which is my day off.
FUN. ugh.
