The Holidays
Hope everyone had a good holiday break! Luckily I’m still on break from school because all the holiday festivities wore me out! These are just some pics I took over the holidays.
The MADE ladies.
Out with Abi.
I bought my bro Star Wars Kubrick collectables. Those were kind of expensive for small little figures but I think they’re dope.
Christmas Brunch.
All these presents and majority of them are for these little munchkins…
My little cousin has way too many stuffed animals, my brother can swim in them.
Kris Kringle 2009…Meesh joined in on video chat from Philly and even opened her gift with us!
More pictures to come…
Girls Weekend & Jawbreaker Fun
This weekend I headed down to Greenfield which is about 2 hours south of San Francisco. My friend Regina and I decided to visit our friend Steph who recently moved in with her fiance down there. On Saturday we drove down another hour and half away to San Luis Obispo and Pismo beach for some good eats.
If you like clam chowder bread bowls I suggest you try Splash Cafe. I was introduced to this place a few years ago by my girl Augs who went to school @ Cal Poly SLO. Every time we went to visit her it was a must to eat here and as you can see, having a line around the corner is a norm at this place. But for their clam chowder and butter toasted bread bowls, it’s worth the wait.
Call us crazy, but we headed to a candy store around the corner where we spontaneously decided to have a jawbreaker contest. You know those fat jawbreakers that they sell but don’t understand how people eat them? Well, we tried to see who could get to the deepest layer.
After about 15 minutes…
While we worked on our project we headed down to Grover Beach. One of the only beaches in California that you’re allowed to drive on. It’s $5 for a day pass but you can pay more and camp on the beach too.
I had my car and I didn’t want to get stuck in the sand so we didn’t drive to far. If you drive further down the beach there are sand dunes where you can go ATVing. Here’s a pic of the dunes from one of my past trips.
We decided to just chill on the beach and suck on our jawbreakers. Lol
Over an hour of our contest I think we finally decided to stop. As you can see, Reg (right), somehow made almost a perfect circle, Steph (middle) was a little behind and just got to the blue, and I (left) was around the same layer as Reg but we just decided she won because of how she made such a perfect circle. Haha Good sober fun!
After that we headed to downtown San Luis Obispo where we walked around and decided to watch Couples Retreat. For dinner we hit up Firestone Grill. Yummy tri tip sandwiches and may even be better than Buckhorns. There’s always a line at this place too.
Yesterday on the way home, Reg and I decided to stop in San Jose to grab some Pinkberry at Santana Row. I think the only reason why I like Pinkberry more is because it’s a little sweeter and I loooove the chocolate shavings. Haha
All in all it was a relaxing and fun weekend. Thanks Steph for letting us stay at your place!
Erykah Badu & Goapele Concert
Hawaii day 3 was awesome.
First off we headed to Boots & Kimo’s, a breakfast joint suggested by Rach. DEEEEELICIOUS. Be prepared to wait over an hour for it…even if you order it to go. But damn, it’s well worth it.
*in the middle, banana macadamia nut pancakes w/ macadamia nut pancake sauce…YUM. the omelet’s were hella good too!
The rest of the day we chilled on the beach and got ready for the Erykah Badu & Goapele concert!
We headed to Aloha Tower where the concert was. It was beautiful outside.

We ran into our friend Carlo there from the Bay and also KevRoc!
Hawaii Day 2
Day 2
1. The rest of the crew came in.
2. We went to a luau! Paradise Cove was pretty nice…and had some pretty nice looking dancers. :X lol
We pretty much chilled that night since the drinking took place early…
I’ll post day 3 tonight. It’s worth having it’s own post!
Hawaii Day Recap-Day 1
Ok, so I didn’t end up posting the rest of the trip, but I was a little occupied. Sorry.
*Just a warning…I’m probably going to post HELLA pictures.
So a recap of day 1…
Got in around 11am…headed to Ala Moana mall after dropping off our luggage @ Lexer’s. And first thing first…FOOD. We were starving so we hit up Zippy’s.
We walked around the mall and beach for over 2 hours waiting for Lex to get off work…so we decided to go to MaiTai’s for happy hour. Delicious drinks and appetizers.
Once Lex got there we headed to Koko Head.
We were dying hiking up!
But we finally made it to the top!
Of course we had to reward ourselves after. So we headed to D&B’s and also met up with Liz, Syl, and Marie.
More photos to come…including videos from the concert we hit up with Erykah Badu and Goapele!
Hawaii Day 1
WOOHOO! Hawaii Day 1 was awesome. We got into Oahu around 11am yesterday and the first thing we did was head to our friend Lexer’s apartment to drop off our luggage. After that we headed out to Ala Moana Mall. Grabbed some Zippys and walked around. We had to wait for Lex to get off work, so we ended up at MaiTai for happy hour. Their Starburst drink was DELICIOUS…and I swear they had the best popcorn shrimp and lychee martini I’ve ever had. Haha After a couple drinks, Lex was gonna make us hike Diamond Head but its was about 5:30pm and everyone had to be down by 6pm. Sooooo…we hiked KoKo Head instead. That hike was bananas! Especially for a couple of us that HAVE NOT worked out in awhile! Lol But we made it to the top!
*I don’t have my cable or memory card reader with me…so camera phone images will have to do.
I promise I’ll have more pictures when I get back!
After we showered we headed to Side Street Inn to get some fried rice, chicken wings, and pork chops. YUM. Then we went to D & B’s. I must say…D & B’s over here is CRAZY. It was a little toooo crackin for me…but after a few shots and grabbing a pool table it was all good. We also ran into Liz, Syl, and Marie there. They’re on vacay here too!
Right now we’re just waiting for the rest of the crew to get here.
Stay tuuuuuned.
I’m Ready…

Hello Tello
This past weekend I made a trip down to LA for Tello’s graduation. He graduated from Otis College of Art and Design. Friday was the senior showcase and it was AMAZING. Each floor had different things from concept art to product design and motion graphics. Tello does motion graphics and had his work on display. His video reel was awesome.
Check out his video reel on his website. HELLOTELLO.COM
The next day was his grad.
We had his graduation lunch at The Grove where we hit up Pampas Grill…DELICIOUS. It was my first time @ Pinkberry! It was pretty damn good and probably the best froyo I’ve ever had.
I heard R.Patz was in LA this past weekend! If only I ran into him. Lol My trip to LA was too short. I never want to come home when I’m down there. Until next time LA!
Congrats again Tello!
