Giants vs. Cardinals
I’ve had a crazy weekend and it all started off at the Giants game Friday night. I’ve never been to a game so early and seen so many people there! I guess that’s what happens when they’re giving out free SF Giants snuggies. But all in all it was a good game. Sold out and the Giants won!
It’s a must to get garlic fries.
Behind home plate.
Got to see Lincecum pitch.
Stay tuned for the rest of my weekend. From SF>SD>LV.

My Birthday Week
I don’t know why, but i felt like last week was long and crazy. Monday night my friends and I had a softball game. We lost pretty bad but it was fun. After the game we headed to BJ’s for some grub and a midnight birthday shot.
The waitress says “The bartender accidently poured an extra shot. I hear it’s your birthday. Here you go!” WTF… it was only two shots…but still…haha
The next day was my birthday but I spent the whole day in the emergency room with my grandma. She was complaining about her back and the doctor had cancelled her original appointment so I brought her in. Luckily we went when we did because she shattered her vertebrae! They admitted her into the hospital and said she was okay for the time being but they wanted to do a procedure on her in a couple days.
Since she was okay and had nurses taking care of her, I headed out that night to have some drinks with my friends for my birthday. We went to Industry Tuesdays @ Icon…bringing it back to 2006! Lol
This was a day after my bday…but thanks for all the birthday wishes on Facebook! 🙂
And btw, my grandma had her procedure done and she’s doing good! Already home and glad she’s out of the hospital.
Friday night we headed to Sky High which is a trampoline place. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures…and my friend hurt herself, giving her a bloody nose and black eye. She’s fine and was laughing at the fact that it was her second time giving herself a black eye but if you ever go, be careful! But this is pretty much what we did : http://www.jumpskyhigh.com/
Skype Mobile
Last month I wrote a post announcing that Verizon teamed up with Skype to create Skype Mobile. After a month of waiting, the application finally launched yesterday. It allows you to do everything Skype does except for the video chat of course. But with this application you can do instant messaging, call other Skype users from your phone at no additional cost (even if they’re international), and even call land lines using money you have on your Skype account.
I decided to download it and give it a try. Instant messaging was no problem of course, but then I tried calling BFFiHK (who of course is in Hong Kong…in case you didn’t get that. Lol). When I asked him how the sound quality was when I called him he said “perfectly clear, but very digital”. To be honest I was a little surprised at his response. I know some people were thinking that it wasn’t going to be very clear and that the sound quality wasn’t going to be up to par, but I think this app is definitely an easy way to call internationally at no additional cost. Yea you can do that from Skype on your computer, but this is MOBILE. Use it anywhere you are.
Unfortunately this app’s only available for Verizon Blackberry and Android phones. If you’re lookin to switch over, holla at me! Lol
Smoothie Time
I hate when I go to Target and end up buying things I wasn’t planning to buy. Especially when you see something on sale and realize you want one and end up getting one NOT on sale. That’s what happened yesterday when I bought a blender.
I have no idea what I’m going to make nor have I ever blended anything in my life. So of course looking up recipes is the first thing to do. If you make smoothies or anything, please be my guest and share recipes! For now I’ll be looking at Smoothie Web and Smoothie Recipes Online. 🙂
Root Canal
Yesterday I had my first root canal. I’ve had a tooth ache for the last two weeks and I’m not exactly sure what was wrong with my root but I already had a filling on that tooth. Anyways, I’ve heard stories of people getting root canals saying it hurts and everything but I hardly felt a thing. I was so numb I couldn’t even feel my own lip. A little more than halfway through the procedure the doctor needed to take a couple x-rays and wait for something to dry. While he was doing that he went to check on another patient, so of course I took a picture of myself with the instruments in my mouth. Lol
First off, they put those glasses on me because the light was shining down the whole time. You can’t see it, but there’s this thing in my mouth that lets me rest my teeth on it so that I don’t strain myself trying to keep my mouth open that long. And that green thingie is crazy. It kept the tooth that they were working on separated from the other teeth! How it stayed in my mouth, I have no clue. But hope you got a giggle out of this! Lol
